CKA has very high expectations in terms of discipline. The students are expected to be courteous and respectful to staff, their peers and visitors to the school. They also conduct themselves at all times as ambassadors of the school.

The Academic staff are highly trained and qualified; many of them have international experience and are Cambridge International Examination (CIE) certified.

In residence, students learn important and lasting life skills. Students grow as independent thinkers, responsible young adults and confident problem solvers. When they enter university, they can draw from their boarding experience within CKA’s supportive care.

No. Without exception, CKA is a boarding school.

The curriculum has been structured to ensure that the students receive the training and information required to prepare them for university and for their future careers. In Key Stage 3 the school follows the English National Curriculum. In Year 9 students will sit the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Check Point examinations in English, Mathematics and Science. The students will also sit the National Basic Education Curriculum Examination (BECE) In Year 12, the students will sit the Cambridge IGCSE and the WASSCE. For students who are interested in sitting the PSAT or SAT, they will be prepared to write the exam.
